Putting the "community" in community herbalist

Lily Kunning, Community Herbalist is not just a business name- it frames Lily's entire workday and goals. She aspires to help as many in her community as possible through her knowledge and work.

Lily teaches a monthly class on wellness at Cancer Support Community. RSVP for the free classes here.

Lily co-runs an Herbalists Without Borders chapter in central Ohio . We have done free clinics, distributed blessing bags, held classes, and Lily grows medicine for the International chapter. She also co-founded Sassafras, a non-profit dedicated to preserving folkways, which will host events once a farm is obtained.

Lily teaches classes and works to make them affordable to most, including doing barter and work share. Everyone should have access to folkways, herbalism, and sustainable skills.

Lily works to make holistic education and care affordable to all.

Looking for barter ideas? Here are some of my needs/wants- maybe you could offer these?
Land to farm, music lessons for my kid, homemade/grown/raised healthy food, general labor (garden, schlepping), massage therapy, acupuncture, or other holistic treatments, housecleaning, building or handy-person help, marketing and social media help, a 10 speed for my kid, clothes, art or craft, a working truck, a working wood chipper, a yurt or mobile tiny house (or help building one!), a chicken coop (or help building one), fencing, raised beds (or help building them)...

Tell me what you have to offer- we can work out a deal! I have 2 hour workshops and also longer 6 or 18 month intensives (as well as individual consultations and/or formulations). I can also do a class privately for your special group!
